Successful Buckinghamshire survey work continues

Norse Group’s specialist compliance and maintenance provider, Infinity, has been working successfully with Buckinghamshire County Council to deliver a range of property surveys, following a competitive tender process.

These surveys include management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection surveys to the corporate estate and school buildings, asbestos awareness training, project management of abatement works and portal updates which the council uses for the estate’s asbestos register.

Infinity was initially issued with a schedule from the council to conduct updated asbestos management surveys to all of its 500-plus properties, an important element in its asset management strategy.

From these surveys a detailed strategy, scope of works and risk assessments have been created. Infinity ensures that the council’s requirements are consistently achieved via:

• Management and re-inspection surveys carried out according to the agreed schedule and KPIs

• Refurbishment surveys

• Remedial project management works which must meet the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012

• Accurate updating of records
