Alliance Norse
Formed in 2022, Alliance Norse is a partnership between Norse Commercial Services Ltd, High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. The new joint venture company will provide repairs and maintenance across the Councils’ properties, caretaking and cleaning services, deliver major investment projects, and it will also offer an improved housing repairs service.
Barnsley Norse
Barnsley Norse, working in partnership with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, is ideally placed to deliver a comprehensive range of first-class services that customers value and trust.
We provide quality, efficient and reliable services in areas such as cleaning and caretaking, and can tailor our offering to suit your needs. In an industry not always renowned for commercial flair and innovation, Barnsley Norse takes a refreshingly different approach – challenging traditional concepts and initiating new ideas.
Evolve Norse
Evolve Norse Limited (part of Norse Consulting) delivers innovative solutions, creating positive changes to people’s communities, homes, work and learning environments.
Our joint venture with the London Borough of Waltham Forest was established in 2007 and provides a range of services ranging from architecture to project management and interior design.
At the root of the team’s success is the group of talented people who, together, form a consultancy capable of delivering, enhancing and maintaining outstanding and inspiring projects.
The business continues to contribute to the local economy in many ways: by employing and spending locally; through the delivery of key public projects; in developing the skills of the workforce; by improving environmental performance; and by supporting the local community.
GYN
Great Yarmouth Norse is a highly successful asset management and property services provider, delivering a first rate service to its clients and customers alike. Our unique approach brings together the functions of design and delivery across capital investment, compliance, responsive repairs and voids maintenance activities.
As a joint venture of the UK’s largest commercial Local Authority Trading Company, the Norse Group, Great Yarmouth Norse has the financial strength that offers continuity of service to our customers and job security for our staff.
Medway Norse
Medway Norse, working in partnership with Medway Council, has the experience and commercial expertise to deliver cost savings, with a strong focus on local jobs and delivering high quality services.
With services ranging from building and facilities management, building cleaning and catering to printing and pest control, Medway Norse stands ready to help, with our team of friendly, professional staff.
Delivering services to both the commercial and public sector, Medway Norse has an annual turnover exceeding £26 million and employs more than 800 staff.
Newport Norse
Newport Norse, working in partnership with Newport City Council, is a highly successful company based in the city of Newport, offering a full range of property and facilities management services to the public and private sectors.

News
NEWS is a waste management company based in Norfolk and was formed in 1993. The company currently operates several waste management contracts within Norfolk and deals with around 250,000 tonnes of waste per year. Significant contracts include the processing of mixed recyclable materials collected on behalf of the 7 Borough, City and District Councils in Norfolk, providing transfer station operations for residual waste and the operation of 20 Recycling Centres on behalf of Norfolk County Council (NCC).
The Costessey Materials Recycling Facility, based on the outskirts of Norwich, has been in operation since 2003 processing mixed dry recyclable material from all of the Norfolk Councils. The facility has processed over 1.5 million tonnes of waste for further recycling and has the capacity to process up to 120,000 tonnes of mixed recyclables per year.
NEWS operates 3 waste transfer stations within Norfolk, at Aylsham, Caister and King’s Lynn. These facilities provide drop-off and bulking operations for waste collected by the Councils and NEWS arranges the onward transportation of various waste streams for treatment or disposal.
Under a Service Level Agreement with NCC, NEWS operates the 20 Recycling Centres in Norfolk, which provide a recycling and waste disposal option for both domestic and trade waste. Currently c84% of the waste delivered is recovered for recycling purposes.
South East Norse
Norse South East, working in partnership with Havant Borough Council, is a highly successful contract and frontline public service provider.
The company is a supplier of numerous facilities management services, including grounds maintenance, trade waste and street scene services. We provide solutions to the public and private sector, as well as residential clients across the south east of England.
As part of one of the UK’s most dynamic and fast-growing facilities management service providers, Norse South East has a forward thinking and quality driven approach. By working closely with clients, we gain a complete understanding of their business objectives.
Norse has considerable experience delivering FM services to multiple sites in urban and rural areas.
NPS Leeds
NPS Leeds delivers innovative projects, creating positive changes to people’s communities, homes, work and learning environments.
The team has continued to grow in size and diversity, since the formation of the joint venture with Leeds City Council in 2012, providing satisfaction and excellent value to our clients.
Key projects have ranged from multi-million pound extra care housing schemes to the restoration of the Leeds Art Gallery and Library, delivering major improvements across the region.
South West Norse
At South West Norse we provide a wide range of total facilities management and multidisciplinary property consultancy services to commercial and public sector clients within the south west.
By listening to our customer and working collaboratively, we provide a tailored service built specifically to their individual requirements – not a one size fits all approach. This enables us to deliver a good quality service as well as value for money for our customer ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
South West Norse works in partnership with Devon County Council to support essential public services. We are ideally placed to deliver first-class services that customers value and trust time and time again.
West Northants Norse
West Northamptonshire Norse, working in partnership with West Northamptonshire Council, is a highly successful contract service and frontline public service provider. We supply grounds maintenance, trade waste and street cleansing services to the public and private sectors and to residential clients in the Northamptonshire area.
