Norse has been re-awarded the contract to provide a wide range of waste collection services to the University of East Anglia.

The agreement covers General Waste, Dry Mixed Recycling, Glass and Food waste across the UEA campus and at sites on the Norwich Research Park.

“We are proud to have re-won this prestigious contract for a further three years with an option additional two year’s extension,” said Dave Newell, Norse’s Head of Waste Services.

“It is particularly rewarding for us and our staff that, once again, our proven service quality and cost-effective solutions have been assessed and recognised in competitive evaluation. We look forward to continuing our strong working relationship with the professional team at UEA.”

Norse carries out collections on agreed days, with every container for the waste stream being collected to ensure no contamination is present. All containers are emptied on every scheduled day, guaranteeing that there is no risk of overflowing containers, or waste left on site for longer than necessary.

In addition to providing commercial waste collection services, Norse Group has partnership arrangements with eight local authorities which include household waste collection.
